THoHH, Ep. 7: “Eulogy”

“You were always good at that. Assessing the damage.”

Spook Factor: 👻 out of 👻👻👻👻👻

Hugh Crain’s perspective of the past and present takes the forefront in this episode. Is he crazy? Is he a good father? More of a character exploration, this episode is less scary and more sad as we see Hugh struggle with everything Hill House put him and his family through. The House starts calling the Crain kids back to it one by one, and the plot begins to speed up as the family races to figure out what happened back then and what will happen now.

CWs: hallucinations, paranormal phenomena (apparitions, disturbing imagery), scratching noises in the wall, disturbing imagery, blood, hand injury, suicide, Cask of Amontillado-style death

Jump Scares (in chronological order):

  3. Hugh puts his hand in the brick wall.

What to Expect:

A mold problem sheds more light on the House’s secrets as Mr. Dudley divulges a personal family tragedy and how he and his wife keep themselves safe from the House’s darker side.
