Have you ever had a recurring nightmare? A specter in your dreams that’s always out of reach, but still always there? In this episode, 6-year-old Nellie discovers and is then terrorized by the haunting figure of the Bent-Neck Lady. We also learn more about how Nellie was affected by Hill House and the lasting damage she was dealt.

This episode is Nellie-centric, heartbreaking, and horrifying. If you cry easily, get the tissues. Actually, get the tissues regardless, because if you don’t cry for Nellie, you can wrap yourself up like the dead, heartless mummy you are.

What to Expect:

The Bent-Neck Lady is a recurring character in this episode who, when you learn who she is and why she appears, shows the true horrors of Hill House and part of why this family is so haunted by the property and the specters within.
